Understanding God’s process!

I have totally abandoned my BLOG ;-/ Sorry readers! Good news…

I have a life changing, light bulb revelation to share w/ you all today. *smile*

Is your promise right around the corner and for whatever reason it’s taking forever to come to pass??? Are you starting to question if the promise is for you because of its delay???  Consider this…

I’m sure God would love to hand over our promises on a platter w/ a silver spoon. After all as children/ joint heirs of Christ we are a royal priesthood! It only sounds right to have what we want when we want the way we want it. Maybe I’m the only one we tried to reason w/ God in this manner. I’m sure you have no problem w/ waiting for your promises! If you don’t, praise God for you! As for me, I get a little antsy when things take longer than I expect! I know…  I’m suppose to quote Isaiah 40:31,” but those who wait in the LORD will renew their strength." True enough quoting that scripture gets me through but there are times when I have to go in my prayer closet and ask, "God what is really going on?" I’ve been waiting way too looong  for my promise! Well today, God gave me a revelation that i would like to share w/ you all. He took me to this scripture:

2 Peter 3:9
“9 The LORD is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”

I looked up the word repentance; root word repent.
Definition for repent: 1. to turn from sin 2.to change one’s mind

God clearly said to me ,” daughter, while you are worried about the earthly promises…I’m more concerned about the eternal promises; healing your heart, making you complete, and transforming your mind. So, with or without the material promises you will be better, stronger, wiser, and more like Christ. Nicole, I’m waiting on you to stop trying to handle YOU and your ISSUES on your own.  Its time YOU come to me, believe me, and allow me to work on you… little by little.”

God is patient w/ us. He will hold on to our  earthly promise, set it aside, and He will take the time needed to help us deal w/  our stubbornness, pride, arrogance, anger, fears, unbelief, and whatever else that may be keeping us from maturing in Christ.

God is not in the business of satisfying your flesh w/ the things of this world. He is after your heart and changing your character to be more like Him!

Understand the process, be willing to learn, obey God, and persevere.
“Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything (James 1:4)

Its simple .... TRUST the LORD!

It’s been sometime since I’ve had a chance to blog. As I look back @ the previous blogs, I’m noticing a theme! Every blog that I have posted thus far this year is about trusting God. Guess what? The blog I’m posting today is about trusting GOD! Ha-ha

As I begin to type this blog, I have TBN on TV and a man is talking about the danger of taking matters into his own hands because his lack of trust in GOD! WOW… the LORD is so amazing. Confirming word.

Psalms 37: 1-7

“1 A psalm of David. Don't worry about the wicked. Don't envy those who do wrong. 2 For like grass, they soon fade away. Like springtime flowers, they soon wither. 3 Trust in the LORD and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper. 4 Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you your heart's desires. 5 Commit everything you do to the LORD. Trust him, and he will help you. 6 He will make your innocence as clear as the dawn, and the justice of your cause will shine like the noonday sun. 7 Be still in the presence of the LORD, and wait patiently for him to act. Don't worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes.”

The Lord brought me to these scriptures yesterday in a devotion and today I was watching Joyce Myers and she taught on the same scriptures. When I heard her teaching I knew I had to share it w/ you all!

Many times as believers we get anxious, upset, or even envious when we see non believers prosper or do well! We begin to question God and His word, “Lord I’ve been serving you… when is my time coming or why hasn’t this or that happen for me?” The scriptures say to not worry about everyone else but to Trust God and continue to do good. The enemy will try and trick you into doing what is contrary to the word of God when you we look at what the wicked do to be prosperous!

The scripture goes on to say that WE WILL be safe and prosperous when we trust in God and do right by HIM. Everything that glitters isn’t always gold. I’ve been on the other side; sleeping around living w/ my boyfriend, lying, cheating, and having nice things. It was ALL good @ the time but I wasn’t genuinely happy. Don’t be deceived!

Verse 4 is key,” Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you your heart's desires.” Many times we quote the end of this scripture instead of quoting the WHOLE scripture! IF we DELIGHT in the Lord THEN He will give us the desires of our heart! Webster defines delight; extreme satisfaction. If we are truly content and satisfied in the LORD then he will give us our hearts desires! MAN this blew my mind! Verse 5 says again to trust GOD and He will help you! I don’t know about you but I NEED SOME HELP in my finances, unbelief, family problems, my actions…etc! We got to TRUST HIM in order to get HELP!

God will exalt and honor you for your good work. Be patient and still in the presence of GOD! Why? Because GOD will act on your behalf! PRAISE HIM!! MY spirit is jumping up and down right now! GOD is sooooooo GOOD! If we are still and patient in the LORD he will act on our behalf, we don’t have to stress out and try to make things happen but the almighty GOD will show up and show out!

If you are a believer, continue to trust God and watch him do amazing things in your life. If you are not a believer try God and watch Him do amazing things in your life! Ha-ha

Let Him take the LEAD... God has your back!

Yes, God's ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts. (Isaiah 55:8) So why do we try and figure out His every move? I find myself constantly trying to figure out ...what is God going to do next and when He doesn’t show up the way I thought He would, I end up trying to take matters into my own hands! Dangerous, dangerous…dangerous! This year the Lord has been challenging me to honestly trust Him. I’m working on being lead by the Spirit and also taking captive of every thought and making it obedient to God. I don’t know about you but man… my mind can wonder! Lord, if only you could do this, show up in this way, at this time …. It would be PERFECT! Ha-ha I’m sure …I’m not the only one who thinks like this! I stress myself out trying to figure out the Lord’s every move or conjuring up my own future! I'm making it a habit to say ,"I trust in the LORD” when the “what ifs” pop up. Let’s just think about this, there are over 6,817,547,616 people in this world and eternity that God manages. The bible says a day is but a thousand years to GOD! (2 Peter 3:10) Lets be real… with ALL that to manage, we will never know ALL the details of our future... let alone God’s next move.

I can understand ...our desire to know is as innocent as longing to be involved in what God is doing but let’s be honest with ourselves…being involved in “God’s work “ is simply following His lead. The Lord gave me an illustration of leading and following. He reminded of being in kindergarten. I don’t remember much but I can remember always lining up in a single file line when the class would exit or return to my classroom. The only person, the teacher, who was in front of the line had full view of what was ahead. I remember trying to step out of the line, curious as to where we were going or wanting to see what was ahead but the teacher would say, “Get back in line and follow the leader.” This illustration blew my mind! God is our teacher… our Leader. He has full view of whats ahead therefore only He can determine the accurate steps to take to get to the right destination. (Proverbs 3:6) We have the luxury of just following. I say it’s a luxury because we can take his hand, sit back, relax, not worry, not try and figure things out but trust that God is working EVERYTHING out for our good.(Romans 8:28) I know I make it sound simple and true enough it is… we make complicated! We have gotten use to making decisions w/ out God and/or not believing God can lead us in the right direction. I don’t know about you all but making my own decisions and unbelief has led me NO WHERE! Can I get an AMEN? I am ready to sit back in the passenger’s seat and let God drive. What does it hurt to let God drive? We might just get to our destination sooner than later and learn a few things on the way!

Those of us who are wondering off in our minds and/or in our actions ,God is telling us to get back in line, take His hand, and follow His lead. He has your back. Keep in step w/His Spirit. (GaI 5:25)

I am working daily on not being worried about tomorrow for tomorrow has its own troubles but trusting God w/ every little step I take!
I pray this may be an encouragement to you all. God loves you!

God Bless,

Go and Get YOUR MONEY- Preach Black man..PREACH!

I heard this sermon from Jamal Bryant teaching out of Luke 15:8-10, I must share...be encouraged.

In the Kingdom of God there is no lack! As joint heirs of Christ we have access to abundant life. A bad economy should work out for our GOOD. God has given us the ability to get wealth. After hearing this message, God brought me back to a creative idea that I blew off late last year and paid no attention to. If we are obedient and seek God, He will impart into us creative thought that will produce wealth. This week I took action, did my research, and I’m putting my hands to work! A sista girl can use some extra money.. if you know what I mean! In Deut. 28:8, the Lord said everything we put our hands to will be blessed. It takes an act of faith to step out of the boat, try something new, and trust God.

Ability in Hebrew is kocah meaning strength, power, might, force, etc.
God has given us the ability. Thank God because I'm not qualified in my own ability! Can I get an AMEN???

What business idea, creative thought, or gift has the Lord imparted into you that you have put on the back burner because it seems impossible or unreachable?
I challenge you to GO and get ALL that the Lord has for you!

Now ...put your hands to work!
Remember...Through Christ all things are possible!

AWESOME testimony of FOLLOWING the HOLY SPIRIT!

A friend of mine briefly shared this story w/me yesterday! I had to check it out and share this awesome testimony w/ you all!

This story is definitely to give GLORY to GOD! I praise GOD Nadia Bloom was found. My spirit jumped for joy when I heard the man that found her gave all credit to the LORD and the HOLY SPIRIT. This is what happens when you pray and are obedient to the Holy Spirit! God will lead and guide you into all truth. If this man was not obedient to the Holy Spirit.... who knows what would of happen to this little girl!

I am reminded of the scripture John 16:13 (NIV)
"But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come."

Jesus spoke to the disciples and gave them an assurance after His resurrection from the dead that they would have access to the Spirit of God to lead and guide them into all truth! As brothers and sisters of Christ we have access 24hrs to the Holy Spirit! What type of guidance do you need today? Pray and be obedient to God and watch him lead you in the right direction! PRAISE HIM !!!!

Today... I TRUST

"In you our fathers put their trust; they trusted and you delivered them. 5 They cried to you and were saved; in you they trusted and were not disappointed. 6 But I am a worm and not a man, scorned by men and despised by the people. 7 All who see me mock me; they hurl insults, shaking their heads: 8"He trusts in the Lord; let the LORD rescue him. Let him deliver him, since he delights in him." 9 Yet you brought me out of the womb; you made me trust in you even at my mother's breast. 10 From birth I was cast upon you; from my mother's womb you have been my God." - Psalms 22: 4-10

My Pastor said, “Partial obedience is disobedience.” To trust in the Lord is to have faith in Him. The bible says w/o faith it is impossible to please God. We often quote these scriptures and never allow a self evaluation to take place.

Today, my mirror had a reflection of a disobedient daughter of Christ.

My outcome of trust has led me to hurt, pain, and open wounds…creating a wall of separation from everyone to some degree, what I call a “safety net”! If I can control it... I can trust it. Unfortunately, this “safety net” has hindered me from growing and receiving the full blessings of God in many areas of life.

Today, I read this scripture and received great revelation. I am designed and created to trust in the Lord… Not in things, people, or circumstances. God has given me and you a natural innate to TRUST in HIM....since birth.V 9 "Yet you brought me out of the womb; you made me trust in you even at my mother's breast."

I created the wall of separation called distrust, my “safety net”; Why? I put my trust in the wrong things, wondering why I kept hitting a road block full of hurt. My distrust disabled my walk in Christ... not the enemy. I came to a realization that IT IS OK to TRUST GOD in EVERY AREA OF YOUR LIFE because He will not fail me, He will not fail YOU!!! V.5”… in you they trusted and were not disappointed.”

Today, I begin piece by piece…. stronghold by stronghold, breaking down the wall of distrust. Today, I laid ERRthang @ the feet of Jesus and left it @ the altar. Understanding God knows everything and it is up to ME to TRUST HIM to heal and deliver what is behind the wall. It is up to ME to TRUST that He genuinely loves me, wants the best for me, and He sees Himself in me behind my flaws, V.8"He trusts in the Lord; let the LORD rescue him. Let him deliver him, since he delights in him."

Today, you must realize as I did, God is able to see you through IF you trust in HIM! There is definitely no gray area in the statement, "I trust God." You either honestly trust Him in every area of your life or stumble in your walk because you only trust Him w/ some areas of your life which equals to distrust altogerther!

Today, can you honestly say you trust the Lord in every single area of your life? Do you trust Him w/ your family, friends, future, and finances. Do you trust Him? What do you see in your reflection?

Blessings
Nicole

El Elyon

Lately life has definitely been challenging for me. The enemy seemed to be attacking me in so many areas of life. Numerous times, I cried out to the Lord …searching for His presence as if He was nowhere to be found. Yesterday the Lord whispered to my spirit, I Am El ELyon; The Most High God, The “I AM__” , The one that stands alone…. Beside Him there is no other!! The sovereign Lord, who created the heaven and the earth, calls those things that are not as though they are and the God who knows the beginning and the end. He is My protector, my provider, my healer, my Father, my peace, my joy, my counselor, My redeemer, my refuge, my strength ... .My present help in time of need! The Lord who will fight all my battles. Who can compare to EL ELyon???? I can’t even begin to rap my mind around how great HE is.

Immediately, in this revelation, my behavior shifted to praise from worry and despair. Yes that’s right I said, "worry". Sometimes as Christians we may take ourselves there, whether it be for a moment or a season but thank God for His word. Thank God for who He is! Thank God, He is in control.

I decided to share this with you all because it was a word that help me to shake off the deception from the enemy and Revive my spirit. Now I am able to resume my position in the good fight of faith.

If there are things in your life that seem out of control, moments of worry or just wondering Why LORD. Be encouraged and know that the Lord is sitting on the throne saying,”Yes son… yes daughter… I AM El Elyon, all that YOU need and more. Bring to me your doubt, worry and insecurities. I AM sufficient for you".

Psalm 55:22
Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall.

Mathew 6:25-26
"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?

Jesus is LORD
